Utility backline player Josese Kurokavu will be a man to watch for BLK Nadroga tomorrow.

The Stallions have unveiled another attacking weapon as they prepare to face QAQA Naitasiri in round four of the Skipper Cup Premiership match at the Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori on Saturday.

The 25-year old Yadua, Nadroga native who reside in Volivoli has been in top form this season for the Stallions scoring tries and a prolific kicker.

He sealed the win in the 28-26 victory over Suva at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka two weeks ago.

Nadroga team manager Semi Cabenalotu said, “He is a good utility backline player. Definitely he is one of the boys who have cemented his spot in the Stallions outfit for many years to come.

“He can play first five-eighth, centre and fullback. He is good on attack and sound on defence as well, he is a complete package.

“I will not be surprised if he makes the Swire Shipping Fiji Airways Fijian Warriors and Fiji Airways Flying Fijians in the not too distant future.”

The former Lelean Memorial School student played for the Fijians U20 and first played for the Nadroga senior team in 2015.

Cabenalotu said the match against the Highlanders will be an interesting clash.

“Playing Naitasiri requires a lot from us as they are a team to beat being undefeated so far this season.

“We look up to Naitasiri as they are fierce competitors. But our aim is to win and we need to rise to the challenge.”

The match kicks off at 3pm.
