Indiscipline is a major letdown in Lautoka’s campaign during the OFC Champions League, says Mohammed Yusuf.

The Fiji Football Association chief executive officer made the comment after Team Wellington grabbed the OFC Champions League trophy after overcoming Lautoka 10-3 on aggregate over two legs Churchill Park, Lautoka yesterday.

“If they (Lautoka) lose playing football then I do not mind but indiscipline seems to spoil the game,” Yusuf said.

“Lautoka played well despite losing 3-4 but you can see the difference between the two teams.”

He said they would be discussing new preparation plans for the future.

“We need to have stronger teams in the Champions League.

“In the next board meetings we will discuss the way forward for our teams.”

He commended the efforts showed by the Lautoka coaching staff for preparing the team.

“Fiji Football supported them by providing the national coach to help out.”
