Police Seek To Identify Dead Man

The Fiji Police Force is plead­ing for assistance in iden­tifying an iTaukei man believed to be in his 20s who was found dead at a construction site in Suva.

Police are treating his death as murder.

The time of his death has been narrowed down to 10pm last Thurs­day at the Suva foreshore.

A Police statement said investiga­tors needed to identify the victim before a post-mortem examination could be conducted to find out the cause of death.

The Police force has released pho­tos of a number of items found at the crime scene and worn by the victim in the hope someone will have information that could help in identifying the victim.

The victim has short black hair, is 5’6” tall, slim built, fair complex­ion and was wearing a bracelet with the letters FR initialled on it.

He was also wearing a gold-plated stud earring on his right ear.

Items found at the scene included a cap, another bracelet and a pair of black Bata flip flops.
