The Puma Davuilevu Knights are looking forward to their quarterfinal match in the Vodafone Cup rugby league eliminations. The Knights upset Police Sharks 12-0 in the reserve grade at Bidesi Park, Suva yesterday.

Knights manager Adriu Nabose said despite the win there were loopholes in their game that they need to work on.

“Police Sharks is a good team but the win today was through team work,” he said.

Nabose said despite the challenges they face during their daily training sessions and the lack of sporting equipment, they somehow managed to survive.

“My boys have been going through a lot and our biggest challenge is our training ground. I always pity my boys because every day after training they return home with blisters and scratches. The elimination round is now over so we have a quarterfinal game to focus to.”

Nabose thanked their sponsors, Sports World for their support for the last few years along with Nair’s Bus Transport.
