Discipline is one of the key components the Suva rugby team are working on if they are to maintain their lead on the Skipper Cup Premiership points table.

The Capital City side face Rewa in the sixth round of the Skipper Cup Premiership competition at the ANZ Stadium, Suva, and this Saturday.

Suva Rugby manager Ulaiasi Verevou said yesterday that he was impressed with the player’s performance and discipline during the past matches.

“Last weekend’s match with Naitasiri was a good one, we were able to see some of our weaknesses and we are working on it,” he said

“At the moment the players are happy with what we have achieved but we’re also look forward to the game against Rewa.

“The team’s discipline is good at the moment. The players have been training well. The boys have been giving their time to the team so at the moment we are having a hard time in selecting our team.”

Verevou added that they are not going to underestimate Rewa but will try their best to win and maintain their lead.

“We won’t be looking down at other teams that we are left to play with but we will come in as an underdog,” he added.
