France- based Kini Murimurivalu is focused on donning the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians jumper at next year’s Rugby World Cup in Japan.

The 29-year-old goes into camp today with the John McKee- coached Flying Fijians.

“I’m happy to be selected again for the June test matches,” Murimurivalu said.

“It is a privilege and honour to represent the country. The coach will surely select the best combination for the Rugby World Cup.

“All of us are in to test each player but it is just another platform and it’s important to find the right combination.”

He said the June Test matches is important as we play Georgia who is our pool opponent at the World Cup.

“Georgia is going to test us and so are our Pacific rivals Tonga and Samoa. So after the series we should know where we stand in terms of our World Cup preparations.

“The Pacific Nations Cup is a great opportunity to defend our title at home and for fans who love to watch the Flying Fijians in action as we’re on the road to World Cup (2019) in Japan.

“With just over a year to go until the World Cup eve match counts as we prepare, form combinations and strategies, so this is an important competition.”
