Twenty four out of the 31 members of the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians squad have marched into camp in Suva yesterday.

This is in preparation for the June internationals against Samoa on June 9, Georgia on June 16 and Tonga on June 23.

Henry Seniloli, Jale Vatubua and Vereniki Goneva are expected to arrive into camp this week while Leone Nakarawa, Timoci Nagusa, Nemani Nadolo and Semi Radradra are expected to arrive next week.

“Goneva should be coming in on Wednesday, Nakarawa has finished his season last weekend but he got some club commitments while Nadolo and Nagusa are playing in the French Top 14 final this weekend,” McKee said.

His main focus now is getting the players body conditioning and fitness level right.

“Our focus this week is particularly for players who have not been playing for weeks now. “We need to get some conditioning back into their bodies, little mix of fitness for the test matches and getting back some core skills.

“We will be doing a lot of work around our ruck areas and discipline so we don’t give away penalties.

“This will be a challenging series for us. This is also Samoa’s lead up to the Rugby World Cup qualifiers but for us we have got a good mix of new players, it’s going to be physical.

“As for Georgia, we know how strong they will be upfront and Tonga has been proving themselves in previous years.

“We now have ambitious build up for the 2019 RWC and with the Pacific team set up for the Super Rugby franchise will bring in a lot of benefits to us.”

The Fijians face Samoa in their PNC opener at the ANZ Stadium on June 9 and Georgia on June 16 at the ANZ Stadium and the final test against Tonga on June 23 at Churchill Park.
