The defending champions of the Vodafone Fiji FACT Rewa will work as a team if they are to beat Lautoka in the semifinal on Saturday.

‘Delta Tigers’ Coach Marika Rodu said Lautoka will be banking on their striker Benjamin Totori to do the damage so they need to be spot on in defence.

Rodu said despite missing the services of defender Josateki Tamudu, who was red-carded during the match against Dreketi, he is positive the team will be able to deliver the goods on Saturday.

“Lautoka will be relying heavily on Benjamin Totori but we are not leaving out other players as well,” Rodu said.

“The game against Labasa was a tough one and we rested some of our players like Peniame Drova, Epeli Saukuru and Taione Kerevanua who was yellow carded in the Dreketi match but will feature in the semifinal.

“Teamwork and our ability to be a strong in defence will help us and we are looking forward to the match.”

The first semifinal will be Nadi vs Labasa at 2pm and then Lautoka vs Rewa at 4pm at the Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.

The final will be played at 2.30pm on Sunday.
