Pleass Global Limited has commenced exporting chipped plastic bottles to Australia under a programme in collaboration with Visy Australia.

AquaSafe® and VaiWai® bottles are being cleaned and chipped and exported to Australia under the programme meaning less plastic finding its way into the environment in Fiji.

This project forms part of Pleass Global’s broader recycling strategy and the company is extremely proud of this initiative.

Company marketing director Cate Pleass said:“Sustainability and protection of the environment are at the heart of Pleass Global’s core values.

“The company is involved in several programmes  that provide environmental protection and minimise impacts of our business activities.

“Our organic certification and maintenance of this status for many years has ensured protection of the water source and surrounding land

“Maintenance of our renowned Kila Eco Adventure Park in an environmentally sustainable fashion with eradication of invasive species and planting of native species to encourage nitrogen replacement in the soil.

“Collaboration with Nature Fiji in a rare palm preservation project, under the supervision of environmentalist Dick Wattling.

“Composting of food and plant waste for use in organic farming.

“Pleass Global is very proud of our achievements in this arena and will continue to pursue projects that protect our most valuable resource- the environment in which we operate.”

Today the company is well equipped with modern and flexible production equipment which allows it to bottle small custom label orders up to large scale export orders.
