Friends, relatives and members of the Fiji Rugby Union family converged at Votua Village in Ba to celebrate Brothers Josua Tuisova and Filipo Nakosi’s double wedding yesterday.

The two brothers said, it was great seeing all their families, friends and teammates joining them on their special day.

Both play in France with Nakosi, 26, featuring for Agen and Tuisova , 24, for Toulon

“I want to thank all of them for being here and celebrating this special day with us,” Tuisova told SUNsports.

“But for me I want to thank my beautiful wife Tarusila Vualiwa Ravouvou for supporting me throughout my rugby career.”

Tuisova said his journey of sharing and caring for his family has just begun and it was something he would be focusing on while aspiring and continuing in his rugby career.

“This is a new challenge for me, from here on I will pray that God will lead and protect me and my family in the years to come.”

The two brothers said the biggest challenge of their lives were still yet to come as they would be spending it with their wives.

Nakosi marked the day as one of the happiest in his life and he looked forward to sharing it with his new bride Vika Vakarau Rokotakala.

The church service was held at the Kecisemani Methodist Church in Votua.

Among the guests were former Flying Fijians hooker Bill Gadolo, star rugby league convert Semi Radradra and offload king Leone Nakarawa along with England’s powerhouse flanker Nathan Hughes.

All of which conveyed their congratulations to the newly-weds.

“I am very fortunate to be a part of their wedding. It is indeed a privilege and an honour to be here and I wish the newlyweds the very best,” Radradra said.

Nakarawa and Hughes shared the same compliments and sentiments towards Tuisova and Nakosi on their big day and wished the two couples well.

Nakarawa, Tuisova and Radradra will join the Fiji Airways Fijian 7s squad as they depart on Tuesday to prepare for the Rugby World Cup Sevens on July 20-22 in San Francisco.
