The Yasawa rugby team is determined to win their semifinal match of the Vodafone Vanua Championship against Northland.

The game will be played at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori at 5pm tomorrow while the second semifinal between Tailevu and Lautoka will be played at Prince Charles Park, Nadi is scheduled to kick off at the same time.

Team captain Kini Tora said the match would be tough however they are adamant that they would come out victorious.

“We have been preparing really well and we will have a good game against Northland. I’m expecting a win,” he said.

The team has been surviving on the goodwill of players and fans.

“We didn’t have much sponsorship this year as we had just begun our campaign,” he said. However, he acknowledged team members and fans in supporting the team.

Coach Seru Rogo said the morale in camp is high.

“They just can’t wait to go out there and play the game,” he said.
