Miss Jubaniwai Sudesh Transport and Company Cema Bolawaqatabu was crowned the 2018 Vodafone Sigatoka Coral Coast Carnival at the Sigatoka Town Council ground last night.

The 21-year-old hails from Nasigatoka Village in Nadroga and has maternal links in Kadavu. She has two siblings.

Ms Bolawaqatabu also took the Miss Charity title after raising $4250.

She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Land Management and Human Resources Management from the University of the South Pacific.

“I stand here before all of you not as a perfect person, but as a learner. For this I am calling out to all my supporters and people of Nadroga to help me as I prepare for the Miss Fiji Pageant later this year. I am your queen and I hope to make you all proud,” Ms Bolawaqatabu said.

“All my achievements I owe them to my saviour, Jesus Christ because if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be standing here tonight.”

The soft spoken young lady thanked her parents and sponsors for standing by her throughout the week.

Chief guest and Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, Parveen Bala said this year’s Miss Fiji Pageant would be held in Rakiraki.
