The Suva Women rugby side thrashed Nadi 58-12 in the semifinal of the Skipper Cup Premiership at the ANZ Stadium, Suva yesterday.

Coach Elenoa Kunatuba was impressed with the players performance.

“The girls played accordingly to what we have set out throughout the week during our training,” she said.

“We spoke about our goal of winning the first ever women’s title in the Skipper Cup Premiership and we are just a step away from achieving it.

“We played Nadi last week and it was a tough encounter.

“We have been working really hard throughout the season.”

The capital city side will face Malolo in the final next Saturday.
