Christian Mission Fellowship International is reopening Harvest Supermarket in a new business relationship with Carpenters MaxVal-U Supermart.

Research has shown that supermarkets operating at the edge of town centres such as these have shown to have an important role to play in helping maintain and enhance the vitality and viability of those centres.

Harvest Supermarket is delighted to be joining forces with Carpenters Max Val-U to lease and operate its flagship supermarket in Kinoya under the co- brand name of Max Val-U Harvest Supermarket.

The supermarket will open its doors to members of the public today.

This new business relationship will provide greater opportunities
in expanding the social benefits to the communities and individuals and bringing shopping closer to home.

It has brought a positive vibe and the impacts of such developments on local residents and the town centre, can take a generally positive or neutral view on the impacts on their own businesses.

It will encourage fewer local residents to leave the area for their main food shopping.

It is not just used for ‘one-stop’ shopping.

Shoppers link their supermarket trips with visits to other shops, increasing town centre footfall and enhancing vitality and viability.

Consumers are highly positive about the impacts of such developments on themselves and their families, other local residents, and the town centre.

Even the municipal council will be able to market more investors to grow their footprint in Nasinu.
