Navosa Boxer Makes Comeback

Nalebaleba, Navosa boxer Ronald Singh is making a comeback.

The 32-year-old, slugger takes on William Mel in today’s Sea Side Boxing Promotion’s Bula Trust Charity event at Prince Charles Park, Nadi.

“I won’t be able to tell you about my opponent but for certain all my talking will be done in the ring,” Singh said of his four-round fight.

“I’m coming back because it’s for a worthy cause and the promoter is good. I’m serious about this fight.”

Singh made his debut in 2005 after 10 unbeaten amateur fights.

 

KUMAR EYES TITLE FIGHT

Rahul Aaron Kumar, 24, who is a construction worker in Nadi is gearing up for his sixth pro fight against veteran Ritesh Gounder.

“My aim is to have a title fight in the future. This is one of the grand promotions in Nadi and I will do my talking in the ring,” he said of his six-round fight.
