Police team is on track to win the Labasa Football Association local league.

The team has amassed seven points, scored 10 goals in the weekly competition at Bocalevu Primary School in Labasa.

Team coach/player Prabin Lal said they joined the competition last year and is confident of winning the title in 2018.

“We won our first match against Nasea FC 5-1, Babasiga FC 3-0 and then drew with Town FC 2,” Lal said.

“During the week we are unable to train as most of us are working. However, we still managed to coordinate and stay un­beaten so far.”

Police FC 3-0 Babasiga Lions, Tabia 0-0 Wailevu Youngsters, Nagigi United 1-1 Valebasoga Sports,

Town FC 6-0 Nasea, Wailevu Youngsters 1-0 Valebasoga Sports, Haborlite Batini­kama 3-0 Nagigi United, Town FC 2-2 Po­lice.
