Natabua High School (NHS) headboy Rishav Prasad was honoured leading the school’s cadet passing-out parade, dedicated to the Fiji Airways Fijian 7s World Cup gladiators.

“Our school theme this year is ‘making things more meaningful’ so we dedicate our cadet passing-out parade to the Fijian 7s team competing in the Rugby World Cup Sevens San Francisco 2018 and to be leading our school parade is indeed a humbling privilege,” Rishav said.

He was also the Baton of Honour recipient for their 66th 2018 NHS passing-out parade. Rishav is aspiring to become a doctor.

“Specifically if all goes well I want to become a cardiologist and to do my best in the medical field in order to help people as it is one of my passions.”

Now in his final year as a Year 13 Pure Science student, the 18-year-old said he had a lot of good memories while at NHS and his time at the school was something he would never forget.

“I also want to take this moment to thank all my teachers, classmates the whole NHS family for such a memorable journey and I wish our upcoming brothers and sisters the very best in the coming years.

“Also on behalf of the student body of NHS I would like to wish all 7s gladiators the very best in the World Cup,” he said.
