Tourism Fiji is working with partners in Fiji to bring live broadcasts from Fiji into the homes of millions of Australians this week.

The Today Show is one of Australia’s leading breakfast shows.

The show brought the beauty of Fiji to Australia’s TV screens featuring a range of tourism locations and experiences during the middle of the currently very cold Australian winter.

Tourism Fiji partnered with Fiji Airways, South Sea Cruises, Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa Denarau and Sheraton Tokoriki to make this activity a success.

The Today Show featured six weather updates live from Fiji every morning watched by approximately two million people across Australia.

“It’s a great time of the year to show that an escape to paradise is only a few hours away for Australians looking for a winter getaway,” said Tourism Fiji chief executive Matthew Stoeckel.

“The Today show lets us show the very best of Fiji to a large number of Australians and will go a long way towards enticing more Aussies to choose Fiji for their next holiday.”

The live crosses from Fiji were broadcasted on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this past week.

Weather host, Natalia Cooper, did a great job bringing to life the unique Fijian warmth and welcome that keeps Australian visitors returning to Fiji every year.

The crew started bright and early at the world class Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa on Wednesday morning.

During the multiple weather reports, The Today Show helped to showcase the Hilton Fiji with Natalia interacting with staff and guests enjoying a range of activities from the kid’s pool to delicious, fresh cuisine, all with a warm Fijian welcome.

Day two, the show crossed to the beautiful Mamanuca’s, coming live to Aussies over their breakfasts from the Sheraton Resort and Spa on Tokoriki Island.

Finishing on a high, Friday’s weather on the Channel Nine Today Show was presented from the world’s only private beach club, South Sea Cruises’ Malamala Beach Club.

The sleek new day experience, just 25 minutes from Denarau Marina offers visitors a fabulous menu to match the chic facility.

The Today Show featured the mouth-watering cuisine, wide range of water activities and the stunning vista during the live crosses.
