Members of the public, especially women and youths, will be able to raise their concerns directly with Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama during talanoa sessions in Nanukuloa, Ra, today.

This is after the Prime Minister opens the Ra Provincial Council meeting this morning.

Roko Tui Ra Mosese Rakoroi said this would be an opportune time for the people of Ra to raise their concerns directly with the Prime Minister.

He urged everyone to make use of this talanoa session, especially when Government listened and reacted positively to what people wanted.

“The Prime Minister will open the meeting at 11am and the talanoa session will take place after that,” Mr Rakoroi said.

He said at 3.30pm the Prime Minister would launch the province’s Management Integrated Coastal Plan.

Mr Bainimarama is expected to close the province’s Yaubula Day, which was launched by

Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of the iTaukei Affairs Naupoto Katonitabua yesterday.

The main agenda of the meeting, he said, was education.

A major part of discussions, he said, would centre on education in the province.

The provincial council meeting ends tomorrow.
