Khan To Advocate Social Environmental Issues

Mr Lei Entertainers Fiji king contestant Mohammed Altazeem Khan.

He is one of the 12 King contestant at this year’s Vodafone Hibiscus Festival.

Mr Khan, 22, is originally from Sovi Bay, Sigatoka and is a former student of Sigatoka Andhra Sangam High School.

Currently a student at Fiji National University (FNU) and pursuing his education for a Bachelor of Agriculture.       

He is advocating on “saying no to plastic pollution” because he strongly believe many issues arise form plastic pollution, which contributes towards climate change.

WHAT WAS YOUR REACTION WHEN YOU WERE APPROACHED TO BE A CONTESTANT?
I felt really proud because I would have a great platform to advocate on some of the issues which are faced by both people and environment..


WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO AT THE FESTIVAL?
I am looking forward to being with my brothers and sisters at the pageant with different messages and advocacy that we will be sharing to our beloved Fiji.


Who is your greatest inspiration by far?
 
One of my school teacher from Andhra High School in Sigatoka (MR Meshar Ali) and Frances Smith the director of Lei Entertainers for always helping youths to discover their talent through art.


What’s your Favorites?
