The Ratu Kadavulevu School Under-18 team will be out to create their own legacy during the Powerade Super Deans Rugby finals against Cuvu College at the ANZ Stadium in Suva today.

Team manager Osea Uluiviti said they are aware that Cuvu College will be out make their own history trying to win their first Deans competition.

Uluiviti said RKS want to win for the second consecutive year.

In 2018, the school won the Coca-Cola Games after 21 years, the Sanix World Youth Tournament in Japan and the Scots College Sevens in Australia in May.

“We are at the final stage and I know a lot of people have been betting on Cuvu to win,” Uluiviti said.

“We respect Cuvu College but we will do all the talking on the field.”

Uluiviti also acknowledged Coach Nacanieli Saumi, former principal Peni Senikarawa for their guidance.

“It is always the men behind the scene that should be acknowledged, Saumi should be acknowledged for everything that he has done for the team. And Senikarawa who still helps the team time and again.”

The team will be wearing black armband in memory of Jade Cavulati, a Year Nine student who died after a short illness early this week and Ratu Navula College students who were involved in a road accident last week.”
