I would love to share my France experience with my Drua teammates, says Eremasi Radrodro

Eremasi Radrodro is ready to share his rugby experience while playing in France with the Fiji Airways Drua squad members

The Batiki, Lomaiviti, native who has maternal links to Rararua, Nadroga, is among the 11 who already played for the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians in the 33-member squad now camping in Nadi.

He played for Vannes in the French league Pro D2 last season and the 30-year old aims to make his debut for the Drua when the 2018 National Rugby Championship kicks-off on September 1.

“This is a good team as we have elite players from the Skipper Cup Premiership and HFC Bank Farebrother competitions,” he said.

“I’m grateful to be in the mix and we definitely training hard aiming to make the best out of it.

“This is my first time to be part of this team as I played for the Fiji Warriors and Flying Fijians. I would love to share my game experience from France with my fellow Fijians.

“After a good debut last year, we need to make a mark in the 2018 NRC.

“We have a good side and we are working hard to make an impact and do our country proud.”

Fiji Airways Flying Fijians head coach John McKee said, “Good to have Eremasi back in Fiji after playing in France. The NRC campaign is really important for Eremasi so that he can put his hand up for possible selection, for the November tour.”

McKee was in France early this year and had witnessed Radrodro playing for Vannes against Biarritz.

“I was impressed with the way he played and thought that his work rate was good. He is a very talented player.”

The Fiji Airways FijianDrua play Melbourne Rising at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori on September 1.
