Tourism Fiji is continuing its promotion of Destination Fiji with a dedicated 22-minute episode in the second season of Flight Centre Australia’s TV show, ‘The 48 Hour Destination’

The episode supports the tourism body’s strategy to increase broadcast content in key markets that will showcase the destination to a wide audience.

The popular travel series, produced by one of Australia’s leading travel retailers – Flight Centre, has launched its second season in July on Australia’s Channel TEN, with the Fiji episode airing on Saturday, September 8 at 1:00pm (AEST).

The popular TV series was filmed in Fiji earlier this year and will showcase a range of experiences and accommodation on Denarau and the Yasawa Islands.

The presenter, Greer Gardiner, experienced Sigatoka River Safari; zip-lining and abseiling at Momi Bay; diving with sharks in the Yasawa Islands; enjoying the beach at Malamala, which included an interview with the beach club’s resident chef, Lance Seeto, and a seaplane transfer to Paradise Cove on Pacific Island Air.

The crew stayed at Hilton Denarau and Paradise Cove, Yasawa Islands.

Tourism Fiji chief Executive Matthew Stoeckel said: “We want to show Australians what Fiji has to offer, and TV is a great platform for reaching many our potential visitors.

“The episode highlights a range of experiences in Fiji to inspire travellers to consider it for their next holiday.

“We’re pleased to partner with Flight Centre for this dedicated episode and I’m confident that through the content we will reinforce to viewers why Fiji is
