The Navy rugby side aim to get it right from the start of their Escott Shield semi-final clash against Queen Victoria School Old Boys (QVSOB) at Bidesi Park, Suva today

Navy was earlier scheduled to meet Army Green but were replaced by QVSOB for fielding an unregistered player Aminiasi Nava.

But Navy team manager Ulaiasi Verevou said the side would not be taking the Victorians lightly.

“Whether it is QVSOB or Army Green, this is the business end of the competition, lose and you are out and every team will be giving in their best to be in the final,” Verevou said

“QVSOB is a strong team and we need to be spot on from the start. We have trained hard for the game and the boys are ready.

“We need to execute our game plan better than last week where we faltered in the lineouts and scrimmaging.”

The first Escott Shield semi-final will be between defending champions Police Blue and Covenant Blues at 9.40am followed by QVSOB and Navy clash at 11.15am.
