Mulomulo terrier Shamal Ram Anuj continued his unbeaten run when he stopped Suva cobbler Aklesh Pratap in the second round at Prince Charles Park, Nadi, last night.

Referee Fatu Tuimanono had to step to stop the contest and save Pratap from further punishment.

“It was an interesting fight,” Anuj said.

“Aklesh was tough but he did not have the fitness to go that far. For now I want to fight real boxers and not journey man.”

In other bouts, Bilalevu’s Azmat Manna trained by former bantamweight champion Binnu Singh scored a first round knockout win over Ronald Kumar.

In the cruiserweight division Esira Cagi took Epeli Naliva to the wire before the fight was declared a draw.

In the super lightweight clash Saimoni Mario lost to Sikeli Senidoko in the first round while

Gabrieli Ravalawa knocked out Benjamin Joseph in the third round.

The promotion was still going on when this edition went to press last night.
