SODELPA provisional candidate, Adi Narayan, believes the party will deliver good governance and a corruption-free Government. Mr Narayan is a qualified accountant and hotelier having worked in the tourism industry for the past 20 years.

He is listed by SODELPA as a “Minority” candidate.

“Now I am home and prepared to serve our people. I worked in the Cook Islands as a resort manager,” Mr Narayan said.

“I feel SODELPA has got what I was looking for and the slogan says it all – a leadership that listens.

“I have seen what has been happening in the last four to five years. I am a pretty broad-minded person.

“There are a lot of things that does not look right to me and I am sure my contribution to the party will definitely make some impact if we get elected.

“We are very fortunate to be living in a county called Fiji.”

Mr Narayan believes in giving back to the people what they deserve.

“You know making roads, electricity and water is the responsibility of the Government and that’s nothing new but the administration of the country is what we are looking at.

“I believe that SODELPA will deliver good governance, free of corruption and free of nepotism.”

Mr Narayan said he would be focusing on good governance, youth and women.

“When it comes to youth, SODELPA has a lot to offer,” he said.

“We talk about women’s rights but we need to walk the talk. We still see women getting abused.

“We have to bring in policies that will encourage women to stand up.

“We need to educate our women and not to accept status call.”
