The Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) force skills team comprising one officer and ten soldiers from the Third Battalion Fiji Infantry Regiment are now preparing for their force skills competition in Australia this month.

They spent an entire day last week at the live firing range in Vatuwaqa to sharpen their weapon handling and marksmanship skills which is a vital component of the competition.

This is their third week of preparation and they are now into the final phase of perfecting areas that need to be improved.

The skills competition involves a lot of physical and mental activities and everyone must be totally focused and committed.

They will compete against other nations that have been invited to the annual meet in Australia this week.
