Fiji Airways Fijian Drua skipper Mosese Voka is adamant his team will fight tooth and nail to win against Brisbane City in the second round of the National Rugby Championship at Churchill Park in Lautoka today.

The Yasawa native said the team need to continue where they left off last week in which they beat Melbourne Rising 40-17 in Nausori.

“We need to refocus and execute our game plan and all must play their individual roles,” he said during their captain’s run at Churchill Park, Lautoka yesterday.

“We have to beef up every aspect of our game as this is an important match for us.”

Voka is pleading for western fans to turn up.

“We want all the fans in the west to be there for us as their presence will boost our performance.”

Blindside flanker Peni Raidre is confident the team will deliver against Brisbane City who lost to Western Force 47-29 last weekend.

“We made a lot of mistakes last week and we were made to work harder for the win.

“Our opponents will be lot harder and tough and definitely we will need to step up again.

“They have Super Rugby and former Wallabies but we need to focus on ourselves,” he said.

The match kicks off at 3pm.
