Dalip Chand & Son Buses Provide Free Bus Service For Fijians Travelling To Fiji Day Celebrations

Bus companies in the Labasa area will be running the following schedules to transport Fijians to the Fiji Day National Celebrations in Subrail Park on Wednesday 10 October 2018.

The Fijian Government in a statement acknowledged Dalip Chand & Son Buses, who have agreed to run bus services free-of-charge for Fijians travelling to the national celebrations.

Fijians residing in Seaqaqa, Labasa, Dogoru, Nabekavu, Wailevu, Soleve, Wailevu Koro, Abua, Lajonia, Dreketilailai, Bulileka village, Boubale, Lowcost, Boca, Urata, Batinikama, Namoli and Linepoint can travel with Dalip Chand Buses Limited to the Fiji Day celebrations.

Buses will begin pickup from 7:30am and 8:00am.

However, other bus companies will be running their normal routes for the normal fare.

Northern Bus Company will be running normal bus services for Fijians residing in Vunivau and Basoga areas outside Labasa town with pick-ups from 7.00am – 11.00am.

Vishnu Holdings will be running normal bus services for Fijians residing in Savusavu. Buses will pick-up residents from Savusavu at 7:00am. This will be free of charge.

Parmod Enterprise Limited will be running bus services that will pick-up residents in Daria at 4:00am, in Lagalaga/Kilikoso, Dreketi, Qaranivai and Seaqaqa at 6:00am, Visoqo at 6:15am, and in Benau/Nagata, Nakama, Suweni, Navakuru, Coqeloa, Raranikawai, Tabia, Soisoi, Naduri, Imily, Siberia, Vunicuicui, Waikisi at 7:00am.

All buses will be departing Labasa at 8:30pm following the military tattoo.
