Grace Road Kitchen Group has ventured into a new business with the opening of its Fierce Chicken restautrant at Flagstaff Plaza tomorrow.

A Patisserie Pacifica cafe will be located in the space as the restaurant and both will be sharing facilities.

The investment is understood to be a large sum of money.

The company will also open a Dental Clinic at the plaza along with a shoe shop.

The restaurant concept is farm to table with  most of the ingredients used for the cusines on the menu are homegrown at the Grace Road Farm in Navua.

Food at the restaurant and cafe are said to be affordably priced.

Grace Road Group’s other subsidiary arms are Grace Road Property Limited, Grace Road Seed Limited and Grace Road Beauty Salon Limited.


 

Nadi Retail Complex

The Fiji National Provident Fund’s new Nadi Retail Complex will be open for business soon.

The estimated $23 million retail development construction project is located at the corner of Nadi Main Street and Koroivolu Avenue.

Once completed, the three storey building will offer two levels of retail space and one level for office space.

This was the site of the old Nadi Hotel.

The project was a part of FNPF’s investment rehabilita­tion programme, which has also seen the redevelopment of a number of other properties belonging to the Fund.

A new Courts store is expected to open at the new complex early next year.


 

SPSE monthly stock report

The South Pacific Stock Exchange has highlighted in its monthly market stock report that 13 new/first time investors sought investment opportunities in the stock market during the month of September.

Meanwhile, six existing investors were seeing to be re-entering the market either increasing their existing shareholdings in listed companies and/or in some cases diversifying their investment portfolio by investing in additional companies.

On a year-to-date basis, a total of 152 new investors have now entered the stock market over the nine months of 2018.

During the month of September, 10 out of the 20 listed companies recorded share price movements.

As at the end of September 2018, 12 securities also concluded the month at an all-time high share price yielding capital gains for its shareholders.
