Jack’s of Fiji yesterday provided $7350 for the Nadi Rugby Union franchise competition which kicks off today.

The new comp aims to prepare the jetsetters and take them to a new level in 2019.

Jack’s of Fiji’s marketing and public relations officer, Biu Veikauyaki said; We are proud to be associated with Nadi rugby. Nadi has come up with a strategy for next year. Our three- year sponsorship ends in 2019.”

Nadu Rugby sponsorship chairman Sekove Tuilakeba said;

“We thank Jack’s of Fiji for their support and the various clubs that have met the requirements. This is not just an ordinary rugby comp but a platform to prepare players for the next level.

“We need to teach our players that there is no short cut in rugby.”

6 teams

The six teams are Nadi Bay Sharks, Rukurukulevu Highlanders, Betoraurau Giants, Koroba Chiefs, Bonunaqewele Jets, and Coastal Herons.
