RKS Chapel Award: Leilani Proud Of Her Son’s Achievement

Viliame, who is in F701 and in Sukuna House represented the school in the U18 team that won the 2018 Sanix World Rugby Youth Invitational Tournament in Japan and the coveted secondary schools' rugby prize the Vodafone Deans Trophy.

Leilani Taufa was a proud mother as her son Viliame Taufa received the Ratu Kadavulevu School Chapel Award.

She said when her son left Waiqori Village in Cicia, Lau to be a third former at RKS, his father advised him just to concentrate on education and religion.

“I’m really happy that he did not forget his father’s advice,” she said.

Viliame, who is in F701 and in Sukuna House represented the school in the U18 team that won the 2018 Sanix World Rugby Youth Invitational Tournament in Japan and the coveted secondary schools’ rugby prize the Vodafone Deans Trophy.

The dux prize was won by Uraia Vakacoko of F702.

Sprinter and blue ribbon winner Kolinio Radrudru won the Sportsman Award.

Ma’afu and Degei shared the Sovanivalu Award.

The Sovanivalu Award includes – Most Disciplined House Award, Leadership Award, Dorm Cleanliness and Dux.

Ms Taufa was at the school to support her son in his examination.
