The FANZ U19 Netball team triumphed at Pasifika ‘Pacific Cup Challenge Tournament’ early this month in Auckland.

And seven of the players will take part in the Grasshoppers Netball Tournament next month in Suva.

Coached by Judy Weston and managed by Livi Hide, the team successfully won the U19 grade for the second year in a row.

This follows a very successful finish at the International Secondary Schools competition in May where the team placed 3rd, the highest placing FANZ have achieved at this international event.

The Grasshoppers Netball Tournament will be held on December 7-10 in Suva.

About the Grasshoppers Netball Club

The Grasshoppers Netball Club (Grasshoppers) is a non-profit organization aimed at managing and delivering community-based netball development programmes to support enthusiastic youngsters in Suva.

Originally formed in 1997 by Alumeci and John Sachs, the Grasshoppers began with 9 senior netballers registered in the Nasinu Netball Association, under Fiji Netball.
