In a bid to move with the waves of time, multi-enterprise Usha Investment Group of Companies launched its website. The company specialises in real estate and property management, construction and engineering and project management.

Company director Ripon Baral said with the launch of the website, it means using the latest technology to create awareness of the services and their products provided by them.

“It was an event where we thanked our key stakeholders; especially the Government of Fiji for recognising and supporting our venture.

“We were honoured to have the Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources, Ashneel Sudhakar, The Indian High Commissioner, SMT Padmaja and the Assistant Minister for Infrastructure and Transport Vijay Nath launch our website past Sunday night at the Holiday Inn, Suva.

“I founded the company in 2016. I came up with the idea of buying and selling as it was a growing business. I found that property investment and property management is a good way of investing my time, knowledge and experience as a civil engineer hence; the birth of Usha Investment Pte Ltd.

“In end of 2018, we were issued with a REALB licence enabling us to put our footprint in the real estate market.”

Today, Usha Investment Real Estate PTE Ltd have approximately above 100 properties listing altogether in Suva, Sigatoka, Rakiraki and Nausori area.

“We have above 15 sales agents within Suva area under real estate.

“We specialise in buying and selling of properties, renovations, construction, extensions, modification and provide short-term and long-term rentals on fully furnished our own properties.

“We have above 25 works including senior management staff under our own property management and construction.”

The main target is to deliver to all categories of buyers, either it be low, average of upper markets.

“At the end customer satisfaction is our priority and we are here to help deliver the best in Property Investment.”

He said they intend to grow the business in the next 12 months and perhaps see some good progress.

Some of the company highlights:

1. Purchasing/selling of properties within the Suva City urban area in the last 10 months;

2. Extending their interests in purchasing rural lands and developing the lands to accommodate local people within their budgets,

3. SUR PTE Ltd they hope to officially open soon, specialises in trading of goods and services. The company will be importing the best produced potatoes, maintaining its quality and taste from Bangladesh to Fiji. They also hope to export goods to Bangladesh and the rest of the outside market soon.

4. In 2018, they opened the South Pacific Overseas Services PTE Ltd. This is a manpower supply business where they recruit overseas skilled workers according to suit local company’s needs.

Mr Baral also wants to help grow local human resources.

With this manpower business, he can recruit the best from overseas and at the same time give an opportunity to the local workers to learn from these skilled expatriates.
