Let’s Go Local: Mavida, Where Time And Clocks Stop
The New Mavida Lodge on Beach Street, Levuka, replaced the Old Mavida which burnt down in 2002.

There is extra Fiji time at the New Mavida Lodge in the old capital of Levuka.

That’s what the raves claim about the colonial-style accommodation at Beach Road, along Levuka’s northern end.

“My guests said, there is Fiji time, but when they stay at Mavida, there is extra Fiji time,” lodge manager Pasepa Seru said.

“New Mavida Lodge is only one place in the world history where the clock and the time stop.”
