Phoenix Bar and Restaurant will open a branch in the West, owner Tanuj Patel said.

The announcement follows revelation of the company scouting the West for the best location to expand their business.

The decision to expand is a response to the success in Suva, Mr Patel said.

Phoenix Bar and Restaurant opened at FNPF Plaza, Greig Street, Suva, in 2017.

The restaurant has fixed customers from Energy Fiji Limited, Bank South Pacific, ANZ, Fiji National Provident Fund, plus many others.

Fridays are the busiest days, Mr Patel said.

“We are trying to keep our menu fresh by changing it every two to three weeks,” he said.

Mr Patel said: Phoenix Bar and Restaurant was originally trading as eagle boys pizza.

“After eagle boys went into administration, we saw this as an opportunity to rebrand and diversify our menu, and create new options.”
