Thirty Marijuana Plants Uprooted From A Farm In Cakaudrove

A successful raid conducted by the PSRU team this week had resulted in the uprooted of more than thirty green plants confirmed to be marijuana from a farm owned by a 41 -year old man of Loa village in Cakaudrove.

The accused has been charged with one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs and will be appearing at the Labasa Magistrate Court today.

Also discovered in his house are more than one hundred sachets, green leaves wrapped in a newspaper with two other parcels that were ready to be transported.

Police are thankful to members of the public for giving out information that had successfully led to the raid and be assured that all information received will be treated confidentially.
