What’s one place you’d take every visitor to Fiji and why?

From a young age I have spent most of my time traveling places around Fiji and Kadavu is one place I would take a visitor.

Without having any family links to this beautiful island, the best feature about it is its nature.

I have a lot of connections now to the people from different villages and because it boasts a vast nature along the coast with the third largest barrier reef in the world “The Great Astrolabe reef ”, it is a perfect spot for snorkelling and other water activities.

Speaking of snorkelling, I have swum with turtles, giant Manta Rays, even gotten close to a sea snake and discovered most untouched nature in rainforests and freshwater streams across many villages.

I attended two primary schools in Kadavu when my dad was a school teacher .

I had the opportunity to join a well renowned resort that gave me many opportunities to explore the island.

The best part of visiting this island is the people.

Rich in culture and beautiful smiles.

You will be entertained by a group of talented young singers with an ukulele and guitar, of course everyone loves their kava and sigidrigi.

You can do almost anything here if you feel you need to be away from city life.

What’s your secret backyard  favourite spot?

My favourite secret spot would be My Suva Park.

On a stressful day of business, I would take a time out to self-reflect and de-stress.

It is a great form of therapy during a busy schedule and since it’s the most convenient spot, it’s no doubt without a cost.

What’s your favourite place in Fiji for a pie/coffee?

As a foodie, I like to try new places.

I have so many to choose from to be honest and with a growing market in the food industry in Fiji, it is hard to stick with a particular spot.

For a quick dose of coffee, I would recommend Catch Up Cafe located beside Suva McDonald’s.

Since art is something I appreciate you can get a customised coffee art loaded with love.

Another awesome place I recently discovered was Vasaqa Productions located in Nadi.

Levuka Next On Cagica’s List

I had recently taken a road trip a couple of weeks ago, spending only a few hours there.

I managed to finally get a taste of their menu… Just to sum it up…. yummy!!! And I tried all their cold drinks.

It was suitable for this hot summer weather and very refreshing.

What’s one Fiji spot on the top of your bucket list?

The old capital, Levuka.

I cannot wait to experience vast the history and nature’s beauty especially various spots rich in myths and peculiar happenings.
