Enterpreneur Lina Mocelutu and the Biausevu waterfall, in Korolevu, Nadroga.

The multi-talented and energetic Lina Mocelutu wears many hats.

She holds down two jobs, while enjoying her travelling adventure.

Ms Mocelutu has a day job as a producer at Jioji Production, a lifetime events business house that operates out of Loa Street, Tamavua.

On her days off, she bakes for her own home-based baking business, Cinnamon Bakes Fiji.

Business took off since Cinnamon Bakes Fiji was launched last year.

Ms Mocelutu bakes cinnabuns and coconut rolls, and admits the volume of orders can be overwhelming.

She employs her sister-in-law, Tamari Vota, to keep the business running.

Orders and enquiries can be made through the company’s social media pages on Facebook and Instagram.

The business was formed at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Her employer, Jioji Production, encouraged staff to engage in secondary employment.

Ms Mocelutu, through her passion for baking, established Cinnamon Bakes Fiji.

She hasn’t looked back on that decision.

Ms Mocelutu believes she possesses exceptional marketing skills.

“I’ve been told my mouth is my gift,” she said.

“In the iTaukei language, it’s the art of vesumona.”

Ms Mocelutu is private by nature.

She enjoys exploring the outdoors and takes a great appreciation to adventurous excursions.

On a recent trip to the West, Ms Mocelutu discovered Momi Bay Battery Park.

it is a historical site that contains guns emplacement that date back to World War II.

The site was used to defend Viti Levu against possible attacks during WWII.

What is one place in Fiji you would take friends to?

Biausevu Waterfall, in Korolevu, Nadroga. It’s a long and winding two-and-a-half kilometre walk.

I did not know it was located inland. Before visiting the place, I imagined it was just an easy turn off from the main road.

Its remoteness is alluring.  Biausevu waterfall is located behind the old Korolevu airstrip.

What is your favourite spot for a coffee or pie?

Moments café.  The ambience is comforting.

What is your favourite backyard spot?

My garden of succulents and cacti.

I feel happy around my plants.

What is one place in Fiji on your bucket list?

The caves in Yasawa continue to fascinate me.  It is quite bedazzling.
