Today, Gollings and FRU chairman Humpfrey Tawake are going to hold a press conference at the FRU boardroom. The 41-year-old wily coach is the HSBC World Sevens Series top points scorer with 2652 points.

Fiji Airways Fijian men’s 7s head coach Ben Gollings completed his three-day quarrantine at the Suva Tanoa Plaza yesterday.

The former England rugby 7s captain visited Rugby House where he met Fiji Rugby Union chief executive John O’Connor and the rest of the staff.

Leaving his luggage there, Gollings headed to the Fijian 7s squad’s training camp in Suva. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions the team are training in their bubble.

The Fijian 7s squad have been training under interim head coach Saiasi Fuli.

Fuli is to return to coaching the Fijiana women’s 7s team.

The next round of the World Sevens Series is on January 21-23 in Malaga, Spain, followed by Seville 7s tournament on January 28-30.
