Locals For PNC Tennis Competition
Local-based players will represent Team Fiji at the 2022 Pacific Nations Cup (PNC) in Samoa from May 20 to June 6.
This was confirmed by Tennis Fiji project officer Julia Gorman who said the men’s team would represent Fiji at this important meet.
“The team will be selected based on performance at the Tattslotto Fiji Open 2022,” Gorman said.
She added that the junior events would from May 20–22.
“The West Pacific qualifiers will be held in Fiji in late July or early August.”
“The Fiji team will be selected from the junior events held at the Tattslotto Fiji Open championship after a two-year lapse due to COVID-19 pandemic.”
“We are excited to invite players to enter and compete in Fiji’s premier tennis competition in 2022.”
“Prize money will be awarded to the winners of the Open men’s and open women’s singles competition,” she said.
