Suva Push Nasinu Out

The Suva football side are a step away from the semifinal after they beat Nasinu 3-0 in their Digicel Fiji FACT clash at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka, yesterday.
The Babs Khan-coached Rams Cleaning Serivces/All Freight Logistics Suva team took the lead in the 20th minute through midfielder Malakai Rakula.
In the 62nd minute, replacement striker Samuela Drudru extended Suva’s lead to 2-0.
From a corner kick in the 78th minute lanky defender Waisake Navunigasau headed in Suva’s third goal.
Nasinu has lost their second match and are out of the tournament.
Meanwhile, Rams Cleaning Services has extended their sponsorship for the Suva football side.
The announcement was made at the Destiny Bar and Restaurant on Wednesday night.
The company will sponsor the Capital City side to this year’s Battle of Giants tournament.
Speaking to SUNsports, company’s general manager Shiva Nair said the sponsorship would depend of the team’s performance.
“It all depends on the performance of our players in the Fiji FACT and the Battle of the Giants,” he said.
“B.O.G is our secondary target but at the moment our main focus is the Fiji FACT tournament.”
“We are the major sponsor for Suva FC and we want to make sure that we look after them well.”
“We want to support them in every way so we can get the title to Suva.”
