Best Fish and Chips café at Waimalika in Nadi expanded its brand into a Kava Saloon.

Located beside the café, it was an investment of $50,000.

Company Director, Ashwan Singh said the Highway Kava Saloon was a gift for his 27-year-old son, Ashmeet Singh.

“I’ve ventured into many businesses and this is something my heart has been yearning for.”

Mr Ashmeet Singh said, “I take this as a challenge and hope to be successful like my dad, he has shared a lot of vision and wisdom with me and it is time to put it into practice.”

“There are a lot of people who will benefit from this enterprise, the farmers themselves and the kava drinkers.”

“We will be looking at exporting as well.”

New Zealand based All in One Builders Managing Director, Sulendra Raju who officiated the event said success was only possible through hard work.

“This is the reality of hard work and making sure that the business grows.”
