Yasawa Island Resort For Sofiyan

Mohammed Sofiyan’s goal of becoming a chef began when he was only in Year 10 at Kamil College in Ba.
Today, the 25-year-old is a Chef de partie at the Hotel Bula Bard in Wailoaloa in Nadi.`
He has been in the culinary industry for the past three years.
“I did home economics in secondary school to help me achieve my dream,” he said.
“I would like to thank my family, parents, my wife and my aunty from Canada for supporting me to achieve my goals.”
Mr Sofiyan is originally from Ba.
He attended Ba Muslim Primary School before he joined Kamil Muslim College.
He undertook Certificate II in Commercial Cookery through TAFE.
His best food is Tandoori Chicken and Chicken Palau.
