Sealing To Be Done Over The Weekend

Sealing of the road at the Four Miles Bridge in Nasinu will happen over the weekend if the weather permits.

This after the Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) had completed the urgent repairs on the Wastewater Trunk Main.

Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) chief executive officer Kamal Prasad said the road would open today to vehicles after the reinstatement of the roads.

Mr Prasad said the public should expect traffic over the weekend as FRA workers would be sealing the road.

“A leakage was identified from one of the dislocated sewage pipes under the bridge on Friday that was absorbing parts of the road elements,” he said.

WAF has been working closely with FRA to ensure that the road was back in working condition for the travelling public.
