Ratu Navula Not Taking Ra Lightly

It is repeat Under-19 Western zone final tomorrow at Churchill Park when Ratu Navula College takes on Ra High School in the 2022 Fiji Secondary Schools rugby final.
Ratu Navula College beat Lelean Memorial School 12-6 at Prince Charles Park, Nadi last Saturday while Ra High School defeated Ratu Kadavulevu School in the first semifinal.
RNC head coach Sikeli Lotawa said they were not going to take the Ra boys lightly.
“We had good ball retention, managed to play in Lelean’s half, that was what made us win,” he said.
“We had good defence in the ruck and we will continue to do that.
“We have lots of things to work on. We gave away eight penalties to Lelean and we’re going to do that right this Saturday (tomorrow).
“We have been practicing our kicking. We are polishing up our set pieces and looking forward to meeting Ra High School.”
RHS head coach Luke Serubasaga said winning against RKS was history for the school.
“RKS is a very strong team and they’ve been in the final the past years. For us, it’s the first time so to beat them is a big achievement.
“Reaching this far in our first year of playing rugby union is a memorable milestone.”
RNC and RHS will play at 2:50pm.
