Lautoka Women’s Club Launch Special Corner To Assist Students

“They have major themes as women empowerment and so as one of the women empowerment clubs we are trying to bring resources to the doorsteps so that they are accessible and easy to conquer their projects for those students who are interested,” she said.

The Lautoka-based women organisation, Soroptimist International Lautoka Club recently launched a special corner in two secondary schools in Lautoka to assist students with their school projects.

The Lautoka club president, Vinesh Prasad said the Central College and Jasper Williams High School library Soroptimist corner launch was done to mainly help the Year 12 and Year 13 students with their upcoming projects.

Ms Prasad said the main aim was to bring the facilities closer to the students to compile their projects.
