Yaadavi Naicker, the dux of Vunika Primary School in Labasa thanked her grandparents for their support as parents are away working in Australia.
The 13-year-old of Vunika, Labasa scored 555 out of 600 in her Year Eight annual examination.
“My grandparents, Ruban Naicker and Jaishila Devi are my role models and without their support I wouldn’t have achieved my goal,” she said.
