The Fiji Ports Terminal Ltd (FPTL) has recorded an 18 per cent increase in Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit (TEU) handled at Suva and Lautoka Ports in 2022.
Compared to the same period in 2021, Head of Corporate Services Salesh Kumar said more TEUs was handled in November 2022.
“At the end of November 2022, a total of 178,532 TEUs were handled at our port,” he said.
Mr Kumar said 2022 was a productive year for FPTL as port operations were efficiently and effectively performed with minimal disruptions.
