Civil High Court Judge Justice Kurukula Arachchige Shiron Jude Nanayakkara has resigned on medical grounds.
This was confirmed by the Acting Chief Registrar.
He said Justice Nanayakkara’s resignation would come into effect from February 6 and the cases presided by him were deferred.
Justice Nanayakkara sent his resignation from Sri Lanka while he was away for holidays last month.
